The ingredients needed to make Crispy Potato rings:
- Prepare 2 medium sized potatoes boiled and mashed
- Make ready 5 garlic pods finely chopped
- Get 2 tbsp butter
- Take 1/2 cup semolina powdered
- Get 1/2 cup water
- Take 2 tsp chilli flakes
- Prepare Handful Coriander leaves, chopped
- Get 3 tbsp corn flour
- Take As required Oil for frying
Instructions to make Crispy Potato rings:
- Boil the potatoes and mash it well. Garlic pods finely chopped and dry red chillies grind it well like chilli flakes. Powder the semolina to a fine powder.
- In a kadai, add 2 tbsp butter and add the garlic, fry till the raw smell goes off. Add chilli flakes. Add 1/2 cup water and allow to boil, add salt and semolina, and cook it till the semolina gets cooked. Add the potatoes and mix well. Form a smooth dough. Add coriander leaves & cornflour and knead well.
- Take a small ball and flatten it using a rolling pin and using a cookie cutter make rings. In a kadhai, heat the oil and fry the rings under a medium flame to a golden brown. Crispy Potato rings are ready to munch!
