  4. Blitz till it looks like breadcrumbs then tip into a bowl. Add the salt and slowly add water a little at a time till it forms a dough. Careful not to add too much.
  5. Divide into a few individual dumplings.
  6. I cooked these on the top of a beef casserole that had already been in the slow cooker for a few hours. Make sure that there is plenty of liquid.
  7. Push push them under the gravy so they are just floating. Turn the slow cooker back up to high and replace the lid
  8. Cook for 45 min to an hour. The dumplings will puff up to become light and fluffy
  9. Serve and enjoy
