  1. Take 2 deep dish pie crust- I preferred the Pillsbury crust in a box
  2. Prepare 6 large gala apples sliced up

  5. Take about 8 pats of butter
Steps to make Daddy's apple pie:
  1. In one pie shell add apples. Apple's will be stacked very high because they will cook down!
  2. On top of apples add water,
  3. Sprinkle all but 1tsp sugar-cinnamon mix on top. If you prefer you can add more cinnamon, but not too much!
  4. Take 5 pat of butter all around the top of the apples
  5. Carefully flip 2nd crust on top. Connect by pinching around the edges
  6. Take 3 pats butter and spread all over crust
  7. Sprinkle with tsp sugar-cinnamon mix
  8. Preheat oven 375 degrees. Set pie on top on cookie sheet. Make 3 small slits on pie crust. Bake for 1 hour or until golden brown
  9. Let it set for about an hour (if you can!) and the juice will naturally get thick!
