Though this momo chutney may have some similarities with chinese schezwan sauce, it's not the same. This spicy momo chutney is basically prepared with some simple ingredients like tomato, red chili, and garlic cloves. Steps to make Spicy Schezwan Chicken Momos:
- Mix chicken kheema with garlic, green chilles, egg, pepper powder, salt & soya sauce. Mix well & keep this mixture aside.
- Now in a bowl add the flour, salt, oil & water & knead a stiff dough.
- Roll out like small circular disc. Add a spoonful of chicken mixture in centre & seals the ends. Steam in a steamer until done.. momos are ready!
- Now in a pan heat oil. Add the chopped garlic & saute for few minutes. Add the onions capsicum & cook on high heat. Add the sauces, salt, black pepper powder & cook until water evaporates. Add the momos. Stir gently. Cover & cook for few minutes.
- Serve hot
The best part of having is momos is the sauce or chutney which is served with the momos. Momos taste even better when it is had with a bowl of spicy, sweet and sour sauce to dip the momos in it.
