  4. Next add the beef stock mixed in the boiling water. Then add the pepper Dijon mustard and whole peppercorns.
  5. Simmer for 10 minutes add more whole peppercorns if you like.i love them. 1add the lemon juice stir in.
  6. Take off the heat for a few minutes then when its cooled add the Single Cream. Bring back to the boil then simmer for 5 minutes it will become thicker. If not thick enough add 1 tsp cornfour to 2 tbls cold water stir in.
  7. Add to a gravy boat of jug and add a little more cracked peppercorns. Slice the brisket and its ready to serve. Potatoes + Veg
